What grand growing venture to pursue next....

Newly relocated to my beautiful Vermont and loving being back home! All moved in and settled on another farm. Will post a pic soon of the view I overlook from this desk every morning and night. Helped turn a small organic garden space in Maryland into a larger, more productive CSA/Farmer's Market enterprise. Received word from my pension plan that I was to start drawing my Social security in September and had to downsize my income accordingly. Moved back here to do that and find myself icthing to get back into the soils of my gardens once again. Interestingly, my landlord and friend is seeking to start a small vinyard from which he can produce his own grapes for the wine he and his family have been making for over 400 years (he's 1st generation Italian/American). Wondering what might transpire and how much work it woukld take has my mind spinning with the possibilities, organic at that, as he uses no additives, chemicals, etcetera and this land is part of a Certified Organic dairy farm (12+years now). Any thoughts , comments pertaining and general insight would be greatly appreciated.
Good growing,
Doc

Hashing over time....

After moving to Maryland to follow my passion for gardening, creating and "playing" in the soil....I have found that the land of my birth, Vermont beckons with every breath I take.
Have a sitdown with the "owner" today. I'm abit nervous and really don't know why. I am shaking, not good, will take an extra levitracitam before 11 a.m.
Been researching organic farms throughout Me, NH, & VT. Have an interview during the upcoming week for a farm on the Maine coast.
Was on my first radio show as a guest speaker and enjoyed it immensly. It was an hour show and seemed to fly by. Am starting my own show on Monday 2/15/10 at 8:30 p.m.EST for 15 minutes. Will lengthen it over time should there be interest.
I'm going to close here and go shovel more at the greenhouse. 54" in two storms 4 days apart is really not good.
